Oh and the reason how I got out of my home and shopped so much money off. Okay, so my aunt called. And at first she wanted to take us bowling (she's due in july! :O) so I told her no one bowls around 'ere and why not we go shopping instead. To top this all off my mum was suddenly super enthusiastic about shopping and i suggested 313 somerset la (kinda new to all of us) cus I guess there's stuff there for everyone, not like VIVO or something -.- And its along orchard so in case it didn't work out we can go so many other places C:

What we got today: jeans, tanks, shades, blouse (mum), and other stuff that cannot be mentioned 8D

Headed to 313 somerset around three-ish and started off with uniqlo, then followed by THE MUST-SHOP-AT-PLACE AKA FOREVER 21. GSS BABY, DONT KISS YER PRECIOUS MONEY GOODBYE TOO EASILY. NOW'S THE TIME TO SPEND IT WISELY AND EFFECTIVELY. Did some analysis on marketed products and customer demands :D (nonsense la) and hence I predicted what people would look out for in the future ;D based on their preferences and appearances. (well its just my own opinion okay just BUY WHATEVER YOU WANT!)

and btw i think 313's some mass rgsak alumni gathering rallying place okay! Saw charlotte, ruoxi and later on, hannah there. zomg all at the same level too :O


kay lets talk about jeans. Based on cut? I guess... (based on UNIQLO'S ONE LA)

#1 Baggy boyfriend cut jeans
These jeans are obviously good for model legs and shapeless legs (that's not meant to be pretty my dears!) - I meana the straight no shape stick skinny type... yes. Definitely not mine... cus they hide your 'shapelessness' and give the legs some body i guess cus of the bagginess. And since they're capri length, it's good for short legged people as well, since the jeans ends somewhere before the ankles, it gives this lengthening illusion.... yeah your legs basically appear longer. These jeans give you a fresh and carefree look, not good for semi-formal occassions though :D Good for shopping and friendly outings but not good for dates i guess o.o If you wna give some formal/professional-ish impression... :D

#2 Pastel-coloured capris
Nownownow beware! As pretty as these seem, they're not good for anyone okay! Good for girlygirls but you have to have more or less moderately slim and long legs :) That is, true la then. Cus the pastel colours make you look abit oldddd if you're abit more than slim and well you get the idea so it's best for those people with skinny legs, long or short doesn't matter. It's good for short but skinny legs cus of the three-quarter ness (as mentioned in #1) but not too good for lanky people - makes you look even LONGER D: In terms of professionalism and formality, well :X Be sure not to match up with formal tops or big boom ones :D (those psychadelic ones I mean xD) But pastels are in now :)

#3 Baggy jeans
These are the best! They fit anyone! Baggy full-length jeans (well not too baggy) can hide all your ugly shapes or shapelessness (multi-functional!) :D From a comfy PJ pants to hiphop and streetdance, these jeans will be there to serve you all the way :D They fit anyone and everyone, and for people with leg-inferiority-complexes, this kinda jeans is the one for you! :) Always in, though it is not suitable for the ladylike girlgirl look :D hehe looks more informal and crazyyyyy :D Let's call it relaxed :)

#4 Straight-cut 'skinny' jeans
Last and final! One of the most popular ones to date! Even guys wear this! (Though the results vary from individual to individual, most suitable for tall lanky guys like changmin though :D HEHE) yes you must have nice legs or otherwise shapeless unfortunately, regardless of length of your legs, cus what these jeans are are equivalent to LEGGINGS already. Means they stick to your legs and your leg contours can be seen clearly OH YES. For people with beautiful small legs :) imean uh thin. Or otherwise just okayish la. Aiya, generally everyone can wear it it just depends on how well the jeans fits you and how you look in it i guess... :)

ROUNDING UP ON JEANS: It's not really restricted to what size you wear, but the cut of that particular pair of jeans. A straight-cut levi's vs a straight-cut mng or something may not fit you the same way. A good pair of jeans is like a soulmate. You have to search maybe your whole life to find one that fits you just right :) (as cheesey as this is)


now we move on to leggings, the close relative of today's tight-fitting straight cut jeans. Okay shall keep this short.

#1 Capri-length leggings
Good for people with short stumpy ugly legs like mine D: They give this optical illusion that your legs are longer cus they show more flesh or something like that :) You can go try it out :) Not recommended for people with super long legs. Best for tropical humid climate.

#2 Ankle-length leggings
Good for people with beautiful long legs or overly lanky legs... Not too good for stumpy legged people as it emphasises the stumpy-ness... :) But then again it ends at a weird place i.e. the ankle so it gives you this incomplete look, especially since you're probably wearing slippers/flats it's just kinda ugly and informal :) don't worry i still wear them - FOR DANCE PRACS.

#3 Stirrups
Good for shapeless legs or stumped ankle-less legs like mine D: Yes, they extend your leg length by quite abit (though not as effective as capri-length ones) but they give you this slightly more finished look and enhances your professionalism. :) Not too comfy though, you have to get used to it :D

#4 Full length aka STOCKINGS
Works best for beautiful legs (duh!) but basically generally everyone can wear it, you won't end up looking too disastrous. Just watch out, if you're wearing black leggings, DON'T MATCH THEM with white shoes or light coloured shoes or anything like that it'd turn out disastrous okay! D: Really professional (as i said they're stockings) except those wacky colours... well.... But definitely not comfortable - in this sort of weather! :D Good for first impessions though.

Round up leggings: Black is the best colour, as you proceed down the colour gradient, less people can wear the leggings. This pertains especially to white leggings, or the ballet tights as you call it. Whatever. You need really slim legs to wear those as they 'enlarge' your legs and fatten them up quite a bit. Imagine if your legs were already slim but on the stumpy side to begin with :O And talking about loud prints, well... avoid clashes. It really hurts other people's eyes.

Ended our shopping extravaganza with mass binging of basement food (sushi handrolls are really gooooood :D) burppp. Dropped by at L'arc en ciel, it's quite cute, but didn't have time so we kinda rushed off :X shall go there again! :D
